Ways To Give

Making Ministries Stronger

We invite you to give to the ministries of ABCOFLASH and the four Annual Offerings ABC supports throughout the year. If you click on the logo for each offering, it will bring you to information about the offering, bulletin inserts, promotional guides, and videos to use in your church. Promotional materials are in English and Spanish.

Region Support

The Region offering is exclusively for the support of the ministries of our Region. 100% of each dollar comes back to the Region. This can be a one-time donation, OR you may send it monthly or quarterly. Some of the ministries are:
• Annual Celebrations
• Board of Directors
• Church Property Protection
• Financial Commitments to ABCUSA
• New Church Planting Program
• Resource Staff Travel and Other Expenses
• Training Events
• Church Legal Assistance
• Conclaves and Consultations
• Hawaii Association Annual Meeting
• Pastor and Church Hardship Assistance
• Specific International Ministries Projects
• Regionally Validated Ministries

Carry on the legacy of good works with a monetary gift!

For over 50 years, generous giving to the America for Christ (AFC) Offering has enabled ABHMS to provide financial support to American Baptist churches and affiliated organizations across the United States and Puerto Rico each year. Some examples of the positive impact your dollars have had on our beloved communities:

Funding direct assistance to the residents of Youngstown, Ohio, that included food boxes, meals for children, clothing banks and distribution of commodities such as diapers, school supplies, clothing, and housewares.
Funding youth education and enrichment programs as well as senior services that delivered lunches, health education and socialization opportunities, and groceries in bulk through a food pantry, among other things, to communities in and around Kansas City, Kansas.
Funding Rainbow Acres, a faith-based residential community with a wide range of programs for developmentally disabled adults from more than 15 states and representing an array of faith backgrounds including American Baptists.
These are just a few of the ways your dollars provide aid and comfort to those in need; there are many more. Please help us continue to bring healing and hope to communities, families, children, and Jesus’ disciples in 2025 by giving to the America for Christ Offering.
One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS) supports disaster relief, ministries to displaced persons, and development projects of the American Baptist Churches and its partners.
OGHS serves people in over 80 countries around the world. Sponsored by five Christian U.S. denominations and Church World Service, One Great Hour of Sharing makes sure that we can respond to needs as soon as they happen and that tens of thousands of people receive support for ongoing relief, rehabilitation, and development.
Through International Ministries’ World Mission Offering (WMO), thousands of God’s people across the country celebrate and give financial support to ministries God is using to transform the world.

During the 2025 World Mission Offering, you will learn more about the work of IM Global Servants Eric and Yuree Lembke and Mike Mann in Thailand, and Kristy Engel in Ukraine. Their ministry stories offer a glimpse of the new thing God is doing through International Ministries’ global servants and international partners in over 70 countries worldwide. As you explore the resources available at worldmissionoffering.org, we hope you will use them to spread awareness of how we can invest together in this incredible work God is doing around the world.
RMMO celebrates, thanks, and lifts up our servant leaders. Originating in the mid-1930s as the Communion Fellowship Offering, it became known as the Retired Ministers and Missionaries Offering (RMMO) in 1977. The RMMO funds collected by your church are distributed as thank you checks. Recipients include retired ordained ministers and commissioned missionaries who have devoted 15 years or more to ABCUSA, as well as surviving spouses. A certain portion of funds is also allocated for direct emergency assistance.
What is United Mission?

United Mission is a simple yet intentional way that American Baptists contribute to a shared financial fund that is designed and used for mission and ministry that has an impact across the whole American Baptist family. With a large portion of United Mission funds contributing directly to the mission efforts and ministries of the 33 ABC regional entities, the Office of the General Secretary, and the Board of General Ministries, all of which are accountable to and informed by our member congregations, United Mission funding supports efforts on all levels of our denomination as well on our shared mission fields. Portions of United Mission also directly support services provided by our national ABC partners.
